Rapper 21 Savage came out publicly yesterday, telling fans that he’s NOT dating female rapper Latto – and he had GOOD REASON to deny the relationship.
That’s because Media Take Out confirmed that 21 is currently MARRIED to his baby’s mama. And what’s more, is that the rapper is currently working with an immigration lawyer to get his green card.
21 Savage was born in the United Kingdom, and does not yet have fully legalized immigration status in the United States, Media Take Out confirmed. But last year, the rapper married his babys mother – and the two are working with lawyers to get 21’s green card.
Under US law, if your spouse is a U.S. citizen and you currently live in the United States, it takes on average 12-22 months to get a marriage-based green card.
So even if he WAS dating Latto … he couldn’t talk about it publicly, or it could jeopardize his immigration case, Media Take Out confirmed.
Hip hop superstar 21 Savage and Latto fans are so convinced they’re dating, they don’t even bother digging into the rappers’ IG stories anymore — but 21 insists he’s not dating anyone famous.
The Savage Gang boss was fuming during a Clubhouse chat, and he emphatically denied that he has a “celebrity girlfriend.” His remark comes as there have been widespread rumors that the Her Loss creator is dating Grammy-nominated rapper Latto.
“I don’t do all the antics and shit. I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend,” he declared. “I’m not finna be out everywhere. I’m not dropping music every other week. I’m not going on [Instagram] Live talking about niggas every other week.”
