Jill Zarin found herself facing fresh fallout after her comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show continued to ripple beyond social media.
Although the former Real Housewives of New York City star deleted her Instagram video criticizing the Spanish-language performance, the reaction only intensified.
In the now-removed clip, Zarin said the NFL “sold out” and questioned why the show was not in English. “It’s 250 years that we’re celebrating in the United States, and I just don’t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish,” she said, adding that it felt like “a political statement” and calling it “a shame.”
As criticism mounted, Zarin Fabrics publicly addressed the situation and made clear it wanted no confusion about where it stood. A banner appeared on the company’s website stating, “Zarin Fabrics has not been associated with Jill Zarin since Bobby’s death. We are proud Americans who accept all people no matter what language they speak.”
The company later shared a statement on Instagram alongside an image of Zarin marked with a red X.
“Zarin Fabrics stands firmly against racism, discrimination, and rhetoric that seeks to exclude or diminish people based on identity, culture, or background,” the post read. The message added that Zarin has had no ownership or involvement with the business for several years.
The controversy comes as Zarin was dropped from E!’s upcoming series The Golden Life.
Real Housewives of NY cast member Jill Zarin’s vile criticism of Bad Bunny just got her fired from her upcoming show before production even began.
