Yungeen Ace received some good news this week after his April Jacksonville Beach arrest charges were dropped.
After reviewing the evidence, Assistant State Attorney James decided not to move forward with the case.
Yungeen, real name Keyanta Bullard, was arrested during a traffic stop along with another individual named. Malquis Warthen, who owns Youtube channel ATKQuiseTV.
The vehicle they were driving in was pulled over by law enforcement after failing to stop at a stop sign.
While interviewing the men, cops saw “A blue bag on the second row floorboard was also seen with a Draco and black handgun plainly visible from the outside of the vehicle. These firearms were clearly visible and within immediate reach on the floorboard between Lamonte (a passenger) and the middle passenger, Keyanta T. Bullard.”
The police report states that “seven guns were found inside of the vehicle, as all of them were “loaded and chambered.”
The rapper was arrested on a possession of a firearm, weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon charge. His friend was arrested on a driving with a suspended, canceled or revoked license charge.
There were four passengers in the vehicle and police were unable to figure out who they belonged to.
“In this case, the State lacks a reasonable probability of conviction,” the court document reads. “While Bullard was near the firearms, proximity alone is insufficient to establish intentional control. It is reasonable to believe that the occupants of the vehicle will claim ownership and possession of the firearms as Warthen has already done. Bullard made no statements inculpating himself and there is no forensic evidence to prove control.”
