YoungBoy NBA‘s bond in connection with a prescription drug fraud case, has been set at $100,000.
The rapper was arrested in Utah on April 16 on several charges, including possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person and for a pattern of unlawful activity.
Both of the above charges are Class 2 felony charges. Other charges include procuring or attempting to procure a drug or prescription, identity fraud, forgery, and possession of other controlled substances. New charges were filed 10 days later, and the rapper is now facing another possession of a firearm by a restricted person felony charge and two counts of fraudulently obtaining a prescription.
“Even strict federal pre-trial supervision was unable to thwart his criminal activities and associations,” wrote Clark Harms, Deputy Weber County Attorney. “Finally, defendant is charged with a felony and there is substantial evidence to support the charge and clear and convincing evidence that he violated several material conditions of his federal pre-trail release.”
