Young Thug Key Witness Lil Woody Arrested For Refusing To Testify!!

Tiffany Brockworth |

Rapper Lil Woody was arrested after he refused to testify and that invoked his Fifth Amendment right during Young Thug’s trial.

“What he has told me is that he repeatedly told the DA’s office that he did not wish to cooperate,” John Melnick, Lil Woody’s attorney, said in court.

Lil Woody, real name Kenneth Copeland, was told by Fulton County Chief Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville that there is an order granting him immunity. This means that his testimony cannot be used against him.

Lil Woody was warned that if he did not speak, he would be held in contempt of court and arrested.

“You are required to testify, so if you don’t testify the state is probably going to ask me to jail you and I’m probably going to do that,” Glanville said.

When prosecutors asked him how old he was, he refused, saying, “I take the fifth.” The judge then ordered him arrested and taken into custody.
