The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has hit rapper Young Thug with more charges.
According to Channel 2, one of the charges in the new indictment involves a machine gun.
In May, Thugger was hit with several charges alleging he violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) act. The outlet says the new charges stem from what the DA’s office and Atlanta police found in his home on the night of his arrest.
Thug now faces a new gang charge, new drug charges, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a machine gun.
“It does not matter what your notoriety is or what your fame is. If you come to Fulton County, Georgia, you commit crimes, and certainly if those crimes are in furtherance of a street gang, then you are going to become a target and a focus of this district attorney’s office, and we are going to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” DA Fani Willis said in May.
