A judge has denied Young Thug’s legal team’s request for a mistrial and denied his motion for bond to allow the rapper out on house arrest.

“I am not going to reconsider any bond issues that have already been ruled on absent legitimate changed circumstances,” Judge Paige Whitaker told Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel.

Steel tried to argue with the judge, telling her that the rapper has been sat in jail for two years and is yet to be convicted but Whitaker did not change her mind about the bond.

Young Thug is facing charges related to racketeering conspiracy and participation in criminal street gang activity, along with drug and gun charges. Prosecutors accuse the rapper of violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Thugger claims YSL is not a crime organization but that it’s just a record label.

The trial began in November and there is no end in sight as the prosecution has a lenthy witness list.
