Young Thug may be in even more trouble after he was allegedly caught being handed Percocet in court by one of his co-defendants.
Fulton County prosecutors allege Kahlieff Adams walked up to the rapper during a Wednesday hearing and covertly handed him a pill. The alleged incident was caught on surveillance camera.
His attorney says Thugger had no idea what was happening and has been “cleared” of any wrongdoing.
“The state’s motion is replete with factual inaccuracies, embellishments, and improper attempts to make Mr. Williams responsible for someone else’s actions. The end result of an investigation into yesterday’s incident was that Mr. Williams was cleared of any wrongdoing,” Brian Steel told Rolling Stone. “The responsible parties were charged and appeared in court for first appearances this morning.”
Adams was searched after the handoff and was found to be in possession of Percocet, marijuana, tobacco, and other contraband “wrapped in plastic and food seasonings to mask the odor of the marijuana.” He was taken to the hospital so that the authorities could retrieve other contraband he had ingested to avoid being caught.
