Yo Gotti’s brother Anthony “Big Jook” Mims was shot and killed on Saturday.
Memphis Police Department confirmed the news in a Facebook post. According to the report, an officer was in the area of 6385 Winchester Road around 4:15 p.m when he heard multiple gunshots. After heading at the location, two victims with multiple gunshot wounds were found and rushed to the hospital.
Yo Gotti was pronounced deceased at the hospital, but a second male victim was in stable condition Sunday. Police believe this was a “targeted attack.”

A press conference was held on Saturday evening where Deputy Chief Paul Wright said police were analyzing video but they are yet to identify a suspest.
“We do feel like the individual that was shot was possibly targeted by the suspect,” Wright said.
The suspects got away in a white Ford Explorer with tinted windows but the license plates were removed. MPD released photos of the suspects’ vehicle.
Yo Gottil is yet to speak about.
