YNW Melly’s mother says the rapper will be home from jail some time this year.
“He will be home 2022,” she wrote on Instagram Story.
During the rapper’s double murder trial, prosecutors claimed Melly tried to put a hit out on his mother.
No Jumper posted alleged paperwork connecting YNW Melly to the green-lighting somebody to murder his mother.
“Yes. If you read his phone, there’s narcotics trafficking and firearms violations authorizing the killing of his mother. Those are the things that you would consider ‘authorizing,'” prosecutors wrote, when asked if they believed he had authorized any other killings.
The rapper denied the allegations.
“LIES. FALSE AGENDA. INNOCENT!!” Melly posted on Instagram Story.
Prosecutors say they have evidence that proves the rapper fired the fatal shots or two of his crew members, Chris Thomas, aka YNW Juvy, and Anthony Williams, aka YNW Sakchaser.
Melly says he did not shoot his crew members and that he will be found not guilty.
