YFN Lucci will not be called to testify in Young Thug‘s ongoing YSL RICO trial, prosecutors say.
The judge overseeing the case asked if Lucci would be taking the witness stand.
“At this juncture, we do not believe he will be testifying,” the prosecutor responded.
Lucci has pleaded guilty to one count of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and was sentenced to 20 years. The first 10 years will be time served, as he has been locked up since January 2021.
Lucci is eligible for parole in three and a half months, and, if the parole is granted, he would be eligible to serve the rest of his sentence on probation.
Thug is currently on trial, facing RICO charges. He has been behind bars since 2021. Thug’s charges include conspiracy to violate RICO, participation in criminal street gang activity, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and possession of a machine gun.
