After being slammed as a “liar” by her fellow castmates, Stacey Rusch has been vindicated after evidence has confirmed that she did not lie about her divorce.
TMZ located court records confirming that Stacey and Thiemo’s divorce was finalized last year. According to the outlet, the final decree was entered on December 16. The case remains under seal.
During the RHOP Season 10 premiere, Ashley Darby raised eyebrows when she questioned whether newcomer Stacey Rusch and her husband, Thiemo, were actually divorced. Citing a lack of available public records, Ashley led the charge in casting doubt on Stacey’s marital status, with Gizelle Bryant joining in on the speculation.
Despite Stacey’s insistence that she and Thiemo were no longer legally married, the tension between the women was palpable.
When the ladies reunited at castmate Angel Massie’s Truth & Tranquilitea Party, Stacey came prepared to set the record straight.
“I’ve been praying about us a lot… you questioning my divorce and other things about my character,” Stacey told Ashley during the tense exchange.
“I wanted to give you the opportunity to see the notification that we received,” Stacey said calmly, explaining that she’d waited to share the paperwork until she could discuss it with Thiemo. “The reason that I didn’t show this to you at your ball is because it wasn’t the time or the place, and I didn’t have a chance to speak to my husband about showing a document that is so sensitive and serious.”
“We are divorced,” Stacey declared, “and we are getting back together.”
