Ye’s manager Abou ‘Bu’ Thiam has been hit with a lawsuit for allegedly assaulting a woman back in 2022.
London Knight filed a battery and assault lawsuit against Thiam, saying they got into an altercation at an event and that Thiam reached for her phone before screaming aggressively, “I don’t give a f-ck; you don’t know who I am.”
She says she tried to get away from him but that he grabbed her left arm and took her bag.
Knight stated that Thiam “intended to cause and did cause a harmful contact” without consent and that after the incident, she was forced to see “physicians and surgeons for medical examination, treatment, and care of these injuries.” She says the attack left her disabled, which has affected her ability to earn.
Knight is requesting a jury trial and is suing Thiam for compensatory damages, including “mental pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment, lost wages and benefits, and emotional distress damages.”
