Kanye West and his former personal assistant Lauren Pisciotta have resolved the sexual assault lawsuit more than two years after she sued him.
The two sides reached an unconditional settlement on July 23, according to documents filed in Los Angeles court on Tuesday. Pisciotta will seek to dismiss the case within 45 days of the agreement.
“The matter has been resolved,” Pisciotta’s attorney, Arick Fudali, told PEOPLE.
Financial details and other terms of the settlement remain confidential.
Pisciotta, 37, filed her original lawsuit against West, 49, in June 2024. She accused her former employer of sexual harassment, wrongful termination and breach of contract during her employment as his personal assistant between 2021 and 2022.
The rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye in 2021, denied the claims. His representatives accused Pisciotta of “blackmail and extortion,” described her allegations as “baseless” and said she was terminated because she was “unqualified.”
Her lawsuit grew more serious through subsequent amended complaints. In October 2024, Pisciotta alleged that West touched and forced himself on her without consent on multiple occasions. She also claimed she had been drugged and sexually assaulted during an earlier recording session co-hosted by Ye and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Pisciotta added allegations of assault, sexual battery and “oral rape” in July 2025, including claims involving a 2021 business trip.
Ye denied the expanded allegations through his representatives, who called them “absurd and outlandish” and “fantasy fiction.”
