Kanye West gave an update to fans about where he stands with former G.O.O.D. Music president, Pusha T.

In 2022, Pusha T  publicly cut ties with the label which he first joined in 2010. Pusha has spoken about his friendship with Ye, and after Ye’s antisemitic rants, distanced himself even further.

“I was still on tour. I just expressed myself. I express myself to him a lot. He expressed his thoughts to me,” he said at the time. “And he got off the phone saying, ‘Thank you. I know you don’t agree with me, but you never kill me in the public. And some people can’t wait to do that.’”

In his viral interview with Justin Laboy, Ye was asked about their friendship.

“I just spoke with Pusha the other day. It was good to talk to him. It was the first time talking to him in a couple months. We made good music together,” said Ye.

Ye said he was hurt that Pusha did not speak up for him when Kim Kardashian was allegedly keeping him away from his children.

“Now I realize no one owes me anything,” he said, later adding, “If you depend on somebody who is not giving you what you need, you’re the one that’s in the wrong.”
