Michael Boatwright, the 28-year-old man convicted of the killing of Florida rapper XXXtentacion, says he has no regrets.
Boatwright and codefendants Dedrick Williams, 26, and Trayvon Newsome, 24, were all convicted of first-degree murder and armed robbery by a jury.
They are not eligible for parole.
Boatwright took to his social media to deliver a message to his followers.

“Y’all just judge me off this one thing y’all know bout me but y’all don’t even know the truth behind all this, I’m not this evil person that everybody think I am and nobody even know me as a person y’all believe in everything u see on social media, I’m not sorry for nothing I did. #itsstillfreeme,” he wrote.
XXXTentacion left a motorbike shop with a friend when an SUV blocked his BMW and a masked gunman shot him several times while at the wheel of his car and grabbed a Louis Vuitton bag in the rapper’s possession containing $50,000 he had withdrawn from the bank and fled the scene. Hours later, they recorded themselves on their cellphone flashing $100 bills.
