Xxxtenacion MURDER Trial Takes WILD Turn … Defense Argues That DRAKE KILLED HIM!

Jacqueline Thomas |

Three men are currently on trial for allegedly robbing and killing popular hip hop sensation Xxxtenacion. Yesterday the defense attorneys dropped a BLOCKBUSTER claim. Media Take Out confirmed that the three suspects defense is to suggest that it was not THEM who killed the rapper, but people HIRED BY DRAKE.

Michael Boatwright, 28, Dedrick Williams, 26, and Trayvon Newsome, 24, are charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm. They are accused of killing rapper XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, during an armed robbery in 2018 in Florida. A fourth defendant, Robert Allen, took a plea deal for a 2nd-degree murder charge, and he is set to testify against his friends.

The case seemed pretty open and shut. Media Take Out confirmed that prosecutors have the testimony of a snitch and they also found the gun used in the murder in the home of the defendants.

But the defense had a trick up their sleeve.

Just before the opening statements, defendant Dedrick Williams’ attorney asked for a motion to be heard that the court should order Canadian rapper Drake to sit for a deposition in the trial. The defendants, Media Take Out speculates, appear to be hoping raising doubt as to their involvement in XXXTentacion’s death – by grilling Drake over his 2018 beef with Xxxtenacion, and suggesting that Drake was responsible.

Dedrick’s attorney explained to the court that neither Drake nor his lawyers have responded to requests by the defendants to appear for a zoom deposition. After getting no objections from the prosecution, the judge authorized the attorney to do a “rule of show cause,” which is in effect a subpoena of Drake.

It’s unclear if Drake will comply with the request, or whether the judge will even allow Drake’s testimony at trial.

But this case is getting CRAZY.
