Will Smith Pulled Into EXPLOSIVE $3M Lawsuit Against Jada!

Lyndon Abioye |

Bilaal Salaam wants Will Smith under oath as his $3 million lawsuit against Jada Pinkett Smith continues to grow more complicated.

The former Smith family associate, who is also known as Brother Bilaal, asked to depose Will in a July 7 email filed with the court. Salaam, 56, is representing himself in court.

Jada’s legal team quickly pushed back, saying “there is nothing to meet and confer about” because the King Richard star “is not a party to this litigation,” and her attorneys added that Will, 57, has not received a subpoena ordering him to provide testimony.

Salaam sued Jada in December 2025, arguing that she approached him in the lobby of the Regency Calabasas Commons in September 2021 and threatened him. The Girls Trip actress, 54, has denied the allegations.

She later filed an anti-SLAPP motion challenging portions of the lawsuit. In May, a judge ordered Salaam to pay almost $33,000 toward Jada’s legal fees and expenses.

Her attorneys have since accused Salaam of submitting late and inadequate responses during the evidence-gathering process. They are seeking recordings tied to the alleged threatening calls at the center of his complaint, as well as medical records supporting his claim of emotional distress.

“The recordings concern the very telephone calls on which [Salaam] bases his claims,” Jada’s lawyers wrote, adding that the medical records relate to the injuries for which he is demanding at least $3 million.

Salaam is also being sued by Will’s ex-wife, Sheree Zampino, who is seeking $1 million over remarks he allegedly made about her online.

Jada and Salaam are due back in court on August 19.
