Webbie collapsed in the middle of his performance with Boosie Badazz on Saturday night as the longtime collaborators reunited for a sold-out show in Dallas.
Video shared online shows the “Savage Life” rapper appearing to lose consciousness before falling onstage at the Winspear Opera House. Webbie was then helped away from the stage and taken to the back of the venue to recover.
The sudden incident came during a celebration of two milestone albums… the concert marked the 20th anniversaries of Boosie’s “Bad Azz” and Webbie’s “Savage Life,” projects that helped define the pair’s early careers.
Claims that Webbie may have suffered a seizure quickly circulated online, but that has not been confirmed and VICE reported on Sunday that the cause of his collapse was still unknown.

It was not Webbie’s first medical scare at a concert.
In August 2021, the Baton Rouge native collapsed after performing at 213 Lux Lounge in Roanoke, Virginia. His team helped him out of the venue, and he was later taken to a hospital and cleared by a doctor.
A representative for Webbie said at the time that the cause was unknown and denied reports that he had suffered a seizure.
Webbie, born Webster Gradney Jr., and Boosie have worked together since the early 2000s, including on “Wipe Me Down.”
