After winning her first Grand Slam title at the US Open, Media Take Out learns that Coco Gauff casually mentioned in the press conference that her boyfriend helped her stay calm and focused before the big match. The 19-year-old had never before revealed that she was in a relationship.
There has long been speculation that Coco may be a member of the LGBTQ+ brigade. But Media Take Out did a bit of digging and can confirm that she’s dating a male – with all the typical male parts.
Answering questions about her title run and final against Aryna Sabalenka, Gauff didn’t refrain from mentioning her boyfriend. The American teenager explained how a late-night phone call with him played a pivotal role in redirecting her focus away from visualizing winning the US Open, allowing her to stop overthinking:
I just called my boyfriend, and I told him let’s talk until it’s time to go to sleep so we spoke until 1:00 a.m. and then I went to sleep.
That statement got the entire internet buzzing -with fans of the young tennis star asking – who is her man?
Media Take Out spoke to a close friend of CoCo who told us that the tennis star is dating, a “handsome Black man.” We’re also told that the young man is currently in college, and he and his family would like his identity to remain private.
We’ve decided to honor Coco and her man’s privacy request, and not release a photo of the young man. But we can confirm that he is handsome, smart, and tall. They make a really cute couple – and can’t wait for the duo to make an appearance out together, when they see fit.
