Jay and Beyonce purchased the most expensive home in Malibu earlier this year, Media Take Out reported.
At the time of the sale, the real estate market in California was booming, and many were calling the home a “great deal.” But now the real estate market across the country has cooled off considerably.
The mansion, which had been described as “massive”, “minimalist” and “echoey”, and reportedly includes both a pool and a “water feature”, as well as an award-winning concrete driveway.
Ando, the architect, is a Pritzker prize winner, whose exposed concrete and glass homes have become status symbols for American superstars. Kim Kardashian announced earlier this spring that she was working on a “dream project” with Ando.
But the style of the house is definitely NOT for everyone. Media take Out learned that photos of the home have recently leaked online, and folks are sating that it looks like an airport hanger.

The over 40,000-square feet mansion previously belonged to art collector William Bell, who bought it back in 2003 for $14.5 million, but ended up designing the interiors for the next 15 years.
Unfortunately, we don’t have inside pictures of the mansion. Beyonce and Jay-Z’s $200 million purchase is being claimed as the biggest ever in the state of California.
