The season 2 trailer for The Braxtons has dropped, and Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and matriarch Dr. Evelyn Braxton are navigating love, loss, and plenty of family fireworks.
“With weddings, career wins, deep rifts, and real healing, The Braxtons return to prove no one does drama, heart, and legacy like they do… bigger, bolder and realer than ever,” the official synopsis teases.
This season follows Towanda as she plans her dream wedding to Sean Hall, but not everyone is ready to celebrate. The trailer opens with Towanda excitedly sharing her engagement news before Evelyn gushes, “I’ve seen people in love, but this is in love!”
But the joy is mixed with grief as Toni mourns the loss of friend Angie Stone, who tragically died in a car crash on March 1. “I’m just trippin’ about Angie Stone,” Toni says, later breaking down onstage.
Towanda’s bridal festivities hit a snag when Toni calls to say she won’t attend, leaving Towanda disappointed. “Tensions are at an all-time high,” she admits before warning Trina, “It’s not a line in the sand, it’s a line in the concrete.”
The family feud escalates when niece Ashlee Braxton discusses the rift on Tamar’s podcast. Tamar later slams a glass of water at dinner as shouting erupts and crew members step in to break up the fight.
The Braxtons season 2 premieres Friday, October 10, at 8 p.m. ET on We TV and streams on ALLBLK and AMC+.
