A Georgia real estate agent has gone viral after a peaceful walk through a Sandy Springs park turned into a humiliating police encounter.
Marron Bridges, a Black woman, filed a complaint with the Sandy Springs Police Department on Thursday after accusing officers of racially profiling her at Morgan Falls Park the previous day.
“I’ve been wrongly targeted by Sandy Springs police,” she wrote across a video shared on social media.
The footage shows a white officer driving alongside Bridges before questioning her and requesting identification. More disturbingly, the officer wanted to know whether she was talking to anyone on the phone. At least four police vehicles are visible during the encounter.

Bridges, who said she was visiting the park for the first time, repeatedly asked officers to explain what was happening.
“I’m not being loud. I’m not being fussy … Nobody is telling me anything,” she said.
At one point, Bridges, who looked visibly scared, asked nearby visitors to stay with her as the interaction continued.
“What are we looking for exactly and why am I being questioned?” she asked.
An officer eventually explained that police were conducting an investigation and informed Bridges that the park was closed.
Police spokesman Sgt. G. Gomez confirmed an active investigation but declined to explain why police questioned Bridges.

The videos quickly attracted nearly 150,000 likes and 20,000 comments.
Bridges later explained that she let an officer retrieve identification from her vehicle to avoid escalating the encounter.
Social media reshared the videos thousands of times and are demanding a response from the police department, wanting to know exactly why she was trageted and why she was ordered to leave the park.
