Ariana Madix, the Vanderpump Rules star who is currently a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, hinted that her relationship with Tom Sandoval was an abusive one.
Us Weekly asked Ariana the following question:
“During season 1 of VPR, you were hesitant to be on camera. What advice would you go back and give that version of Ariana?”
Ariana responded, “Don’t date abusive men who won’t let you shine and be on a TV show — because that’s what was going on and why I didn’t want to be on camera.”
Ariana dated Tom for the majority of her time on the show. They split after the world discovered his affair with cast member, Raquel Leviss (who has since left the show.”
She says she’s in a much better place now.
“I’ve grown up. I’m somebody who never really wanted to grow up. [But] over time, I’ve been able to love myself more and give myself a lot more grace when it comes to things we go through during filming. And that has allowed me to give others more grace,” she said.
