Media Take Out reported that yesterday Bishop TD Jakes suffered a medical emergency while preaching to a half empty church in Dallas yesterday.
And we have exclusive insight into his medical condition, as well as the rumors circulating among top members of his Potter House Church.
Yesterday TD Jakes appeared before his dwindling congregation, and gave a sermon. But the pastor seemed to be unwell. TD Jakes was unable to stand, and he mumbled the words of the sermon.
Then – at one point, the pastor started to tremble – in what appeared to be a stroke. Men and women from his congregation rushed to his aid, and he was later taken to the hospital.
So what happened. Well Media Take Out spoke with multiple members of TD Jakes church, who tell us that the pastor has undergone a litany of tests – and that so far, it doesn’t appear that he’s had either a stroke or a heart attack.
While he’s not been officially cleared, the doctors believe that he is suffering from “exhaustion.” They say that the pastor has been recovering from an illness, and he was not quite ready to be in the pulpit on Sunday.
But not everyone believes the diagnosis. Media Take Out spoke with one former member of the Potter House church who suspects that TD Jakes illness, may have been faked – to get more people to the church.
The former congregant explained, “TD Jakes used to have thousands of people coming to his church and tithing every Sunday. Since Covid the numbers started going down. And after the Diddy rumors, they went down even further.”
We’re told that the amount of tithes collected is down substantially also.
We’re told now that it’s typical for the church, that has seating for 8,000 people, to only have a few hundred people on a Sunday.
But that may all change, after the video of TD Jakes “medical emergency” changes things.
The insider added, “People are going to start coming to church again after this. Is it a coincidence, or was it planned. I can’t say, but I have my suspicions.”
We’re not quite ready to believe this conspiracy theory yet …. so we just hope TD Jakes has a speedy recovery.
