Tyrese Gibson appeared on The Breakfast Club for another viral interview. On the show, the singer revealed that he wears fake jewelry from Amazon.
“If it all ends for me tomorrow, I never sold you on fake. None of the jewelry that’s on my arm is real,” he said, showing off the faux diamond bracelet.
“Dont love me because of no f-cking diamond,” he continued. “This bracelet right here looks real as a motherf-cker. This sh-t was $23 on Amazon.”
Tyrese then defended his actions.
“It don’t look fake right?” he said. “If you out here getting fake vagina over your fake jewelry, reality is reality.”
Fans were confused, as earlier in the interview, Tyrese appeared to brag about his expensive jewelry.
“I don’t lose no sleep over trying to win the popularity contest with all this jewelry that I’m going to leave on a nightstand for a housekeeper to say ‘I don’t know,’” he said, adding that his earrings were worth $250,000.
Elsewhere in the interview, the crooner wept about unresolved grief. The singer and actor says it’s important for men to be in touch with their emotions and cry when needed.
