Twitter Says Mary J Blige Got Surgery, Calling Her Mary J BBL-ige

Mary J Blige looked great this weekend at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions. But some fans are speculating that Mary – who is looking extra curvy these days, may be the latest celebrity to undergo plastic surgery.
Media Take Out did an independent analysis – and quite frankly, we’re not sure. Historically, Mary has always been very flat in the back. Here are a few photos of her from a couple of years back.

But this weekend, Mary – who is now 53 – was looking extra thick. Now we’re not conceding that Mary got surgery. But if she did, she did no very tastefully. Unlike so many of the other women walking around looking like worker ants, Mary’s new curves are subtle and graceful.

Folks on Twitter are having a field day with Mary’s new body. Some are even calling her Mary J BBL-ige.
Mary is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actress, and entrepreneur. Often referred to as the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” and “Queen of R&B”, Blige has won nine Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, four American Music Awards, twelve NAACP Image Awards, and twelve Billboard Music Awards, including the Billboard Icon Award. She has been nominated for three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, including one for her supporting role in the film Mudbound (2017) and another for its original song “Mighty River”, becoming the first person nominated for acting and songwriting in the same year.
