Kanye West’s former Twitter account has been reinstated after a nearly eight-month suspension.

The social media platform (know rebranded as X”) says that even though his account is back, he will not be eligible for monetization or have any ads appear next to his posts.

Ye was suspended from Twitter after he tweeted an image of a swastika blended with a star of David, less than two weeks after he returned to the platform. In a clip from his controversial interview with Alex Jones on Inforwars, he praised Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.

“I see good things about Hitler … Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” Ye told Jones.
“But they did good things too. We gotta stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”

After his suspension, Musk tweeted:

“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk tweeted at the time.
