Donald Trump has reacted to the news that Taylor Swift endorsed his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, moments after their debate earlier this week ended.
During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Trump threw shade at Taylor Swift, claiming that he prefers Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Travis Kelce’s teammate, Patrick Mahomes.
Swift and Kelce have been happily dating for months.
Trump also seemingly threatened the pop singer over her endorsement.
“You couldn’t possibly endorse Biden. You look at Biden, you couldn’t possibly endorse him. But she’s a very liberal person. She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it at the, uh, in the marketplace,” continued.
Trump went viral for some of his comments during the debate, even accusing Haitian immigrants of feasting on Springfield, Ohio’s cats and dogs.
“I like Brittany. I think Brittany’s great. Brittany got a lot of news last week. She’s a big—she’s a big MAGA fan. That’s the one I like, much better than Taylor Swift,” Trump said, adding that Mahomes was “the wife of the great quarterback, and he is a great quarterback.”
