Donald Trump is still beefing with LeBron James and during his speech at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit in Tampa on Saturday he made some bizarre remarks about LeBron James.
“If I were a basketball coach of the women’s team, I would be the greatest coach of all time. I’m not a fan of LeBron James at all,I don’t like him, but I’d say ‘LeBron, did you ever think of becoming a woman? Did you ever consider, because I’d like to have you on my team. I’d love to have you on our team, LeBron. But think of it, it’s so crazy what’s happening,” Trump said.
Trump supporters say the comments are really about transgender athletes. He recently joked that if he were coach, he would only recruit trans athletes.
“If I were a coach, I wouldn’t be talking to too many women as we know women,” he said. “I’d be getting some of these people that … they’re ‘women.'”
