Tristan Thompson has been paying his first babys mother Jordan Briani Craig $40,000 in monthly child support payments. Now, Media Take Out has learned, she wants to make sure those payments don’t get cut.
On August 9, Craig filed an ‘abstract of judgment’ in Los Angeles, a document used to create a public record in the event that the debt – in this case, the child support payment – is not honored.
Word on the curb is that Tristan – who no longer plays in the NBA anymore – is planning on applying to have Jordan’s child support payments reduced.
Jordan’s original agreement with Tristan dates back to 2019, when the 32-year-old athlete was playing on the Cleveland Cavaliers where he was earning an annual salary of $17.7million.
But things change. The basketball star has had three more children by two different women – and his annual salary drop to $9.2 million last year, and ZERO going forward.
It is common for NBA players to have their child support payments decrease substantially – once they leave the league, Media Take Out has learned. So it looks like Jordan is trying to lock in her child support payment.
Jordan began dating Thompson in 2014 but their two-year relationship turned sour and ended when he became involved with Khloe Kardashian.
