Trey Songz is asking a judge to throw out a lawsuit accusing him of sexually assaulting a woman at a 2013 pool party.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the singer says the case was brought way past the statute of limitations.
Songz is accused of exposing the woman’s breast at a pool party in front of a crowd of people before yelling “Titty in The Open … Titty in The Open.”
At the time the woman was working as a business analyst for a local liquor distributor. The Doe claims the incident made her feel “ashamed, embarrassed and anxious” about whether or not her colleagues had seen her breast.
“Entities such as Atlantic Records and key executives like Kevin Liles must reassess their obligations toward ensuring the safety and dignity of everyone at any event associated with their artists,” her attorney told Rolling Stone. “My client demands transparency, accountability, and a prioritization of safety over profits.”
The alleged victim previously demanded a $5 million settlement in April 2022.
