Travis Scott was arrested early this morning in Paris after the rapper got into an altercation with a security guard outside of the luxurious George V hotel.
According to a statement from the Paris public prosecutor’s office, the hotel security guard tried to step in to break up an altercation between Scott and his own bodyguard.
“The latter himself had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard,” read the statement. Sources say the rapper was “heavily drunk” and refused a breath test.
“He was not in the right condition to be questioned straight away, so was put in a cell where he is still sobering up,” an insider told Le Parisien reports.
The rapper will be questioned once he is sober enough.
