Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Travis Hunter has announced that he and his wife, Leanna Lenee, have welcomed a baby boy after concealing her pregnancy from the public for nine months.
The couple announced the news via a YouTube video titled “Dear Son…”
In a clip lasting just under three minutes, Hunter and Lenee appear together in a bathroom. Hunter films the moment with a handheld camcorder, capturing their reflection in the mirror as Lenee wraps a curling iron and fixes her hair.
Moments later, Lenee is seen holding a Clearblue pregnancy test. “Wait, is it going?” she asks as the results begin to appear.
The couple breaks into a celebratory dance, with Lenee recording the moment.
“There’s the baby,” she says in the next scene, showing a printout of her ultrasound. The compilation then cuts to a sign that reads, “It’s a boy.”
Before learning the baby’s gender, Lenee had written down a dream she’d had back in February, noting her belief they would welcome a boy “with lots and lots of curly hair.” She documented the dream in the notes app on her iPhone.
