Trae The Truth took to Instagram to address his fight with Z-Ro.
He says he did not ambush his cousin.
“I’m going to address this one time and one time only. I feel like I’m at a point in my life where I’m not finna sit here and let stuff just linger around. But I do feel I owe it to people to know…especially people who really rock with me and know the situation that they trying to paint, the narrative they’re painting…that sh-t is false,” he said.
Trae said he did not ambush Z-Ro and says the fight was more than 10 years in the making.
“It wasn’t no 7-on-1 situation. It wasn’t no blindside ambush. That’s not what this is. This is family business, internal stuff that’s been going on for 10, 15 years that’s probably been building up and just spilled over into sh-t.”
The rapper says his family fights and that sometimes he acts out of emotion because he’s human.
“It ain’t no hate for that man. I’m never going to let nobody hurt or harm him. As far as the blogs, as far as everybody who had something to say that I’m seeing, you gotta keep that same energy. For those that really rock with me, if I let y’all down, that’s on me, I stand on that and I accept my accountability … I’m not gonna let people keep adding fuel to the fire.”
