Comedian Tracy Morgan admitted using the weight loss drug Ozempic but says it didn’t work for him…in fact, he even gained weight.
Ozempic, known generically as semaglutide, was approved in 2017 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in adults with type 2 diabetes. Ozempic is a weekly injection that helps lower blood sugar by helping the pancreas make more insulin.
Fans of Tracy already know about his Ozemic use because he revealed he was taking the drug in August 2023 during an appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna.
“You look good, bud,” Jimmy Fallon told Tracy. “You look great. How you staying in shape these days?”
“Well, that’s Ozempic,” Tracy responded.
“I’ve learned to out-eat Ozempic. I out-ate Ozempic. I’ve gained 40 pounds,” he added.
“I’ve never heard of anyone gaining 40,” Fallon responded.
Tracy remarked, “I’m like Magic Johnson. I gained 40 pounds.”
Does Tracy Morgan look good with the weight gain?
