Authorities appear to be tightening their circle around D4vd, a key music executive in his camp, as a key music executive in his camp has been pulled directly into the spotlight.
It is reported that Robert Morgenroth, general manager of D4vd’s label Mogul Vision and president of his touring company Zara Brothers Travel, was ordered to testify before a grand jury.
During Monday’s appearance, Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman pressed him on his actions in the days surrounding the investigation, per TMZ.
Morgenroth allegedly told his attorney that Silverman was aggressive in her questioning, saying, “She was very pushy on why I didn’t call police. I said I feel like I didn’t have the responsibility to do that and just wanted to continue with the tour.”
Which tour he meant remains unclear. The singer had been one month into his WITHERED World Tour when the body of Celeste Rivas was found inside the front trunk of his Tesla at a Hollywood impound lot. The car had been abandoned near a Hollywood Hills home where he once lived.
Police reportedly now consider D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, a suspect.
His manager, Josh Marshall, has denied the artist’s involvement, insisting the allegations are “flat-out untrue.”
