Tory Lanez’s legal team believe the rapper will be found not guilty in the shooting case involving Megan Thee Stallion.
“We are confident that at the conclusion of this trial the truth will come out and Mr. Peterson will be exonerated of all charges,” Tory’s attorney, George Mgdesyan, told TMZ.
Lanez feels the same way if his latest tweets are anything to go by.
“I’m going to leave this here one more time …and watch how it ages … NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER … AND EVERY TONGUE THAT RISES AGAINST ME IN JUDGEMENT SHALL BE CONDEMNED u sit and watch now …. And don’t ever question the GOD I serve again . This is my last tweet,” he wrote.
Lanez’s trial is about to begin. Megan Thee Stallion alleges Lanez shot her in both feet in the summer of 2020. Lanez denies the charges. If convicted, he not only faces a long prison sentence but deportation back to Canada.
