Tory Lanez has been placed on house arrest for his alleged assault on singer August Alsina. A judge says the singer violated his parole when he put hands on Alsina.
CBS News reports that he will be under house arrest, starting this Friday, October 31, until the next court date in his shooting case involving Megan Thee Stallion. His trial over the shooting is currently scheduled to begin on the morning of Monday, November 28. The prosecution wanted Lanez brought into custody without bail. They argued that he is a danger to society with a pattern of defying court orders.
Lanez allegedly attacked Alsina after he refused to shake his hand. Alsina can be seen walking past Lanez in the viral video. Lanez has his hand stretched out and looked embarrassed at the snub. Later in the video, Lanez is seen walking aggressively toward Alsina but the actual footage from the fight has not been released.
