Rapper Tory Lanez been hit with a third felony charge in the shooting case of Megan Thee Stallion.
Prosecutors have now added a charge of discharging a firearm with gross negligence on Monday. The rapper has already pleaded guilty to one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The new charge carries a possible six-year prison sentence and he risks being deported back to Canada.
Lanez is currently trying to subpoena Kylie Jenner to testify in court on his behalf. Megan and Tory were leaving a party at Jenner’s when the alleged assault took place. Kylie has kept mum about the shooting incident since 2020. Kylie even unfollowed the “Body” rapper after the incident.
Lanez has claimed he is innocent but Megan says the rapper shot her in both feet while telling her to “Dance, Bitch!” The jury selection is currently in progress.
