Tory Lanez was detained at the Las Vegas airport after TSA agents found a “large” amount of marijuana in one of his bags.
TMZ reports that Lanez was trying to board a flight leaving Vegas Sunday morning when he was detained. TSA officers held him after finding marijuana in his possession. The singer was eventually released but they kept the weed.
Weed may be legal in the state but it is illegal to fly with because it is not yet legal on a federal level.
Lanez trended last week after Megan Thee Stallion talked about the alleged shooting on TV.
“He said, ‘Dance, bitch,’ and then he started shooting,” Megan said, adding that Lanez “shot a couple of times.” She then claimed the rapper offered to pay everyone “a million dollars” to stay quiet about what had happened.
“I’m like, what are you even talking about?” Megan continued. “Why are you offering me money right now? Help me. If you’re sorry, help me.”
