Tom Sandoval denies that remarks he made about his ex-girlfriend of 9 years, Ariana Madix, refusing to take her t-shirt off during sex, were to body shame her.
“I’ve never body-shamed Ariana. I don’t know if that was taken out of context. I think people added their own context to it,” he told TMZ.
According to Sandoval, his comments have “nothing to do with her body.” He seemingly implied she was not great in bed.
“If somebody, like, wanted to have sex with me and I, like, unzipped my zipper and said like, ‘Oh, hurry up. I gotta meet somebody for lunch,'” Sandoval said. “It was more about the unenthusiasm.”
Bravo exec Andy Cohen says Sandoval’s remarks were especially offensive because he is a straight man.
“It’s gonna cut to the core for a lot of women,” Cohen stated. “It’s just something that a straight guy — the category is, ‘Things straight guys should never say about women.'”
Sandoval is now rumored to be dating Raquel Leviss but the pair are yet to make it official.
