Tom Hanks snapped on fans who swarmed his 65-year-old wife Rita Wilson in New York City.
The couple were leaving a restaurant on Wednesday and walking towards their car. Fans then crowded them to take pictures but one fan bumped into Rita and she tripped and almost hit the floor.
“Stop it!” Rita screamed.
Tom then rushed to her aide, telling the fans to “back the f*ck off,” and yelled at them for “knocking over my wife.”
“Sorry about that, Tom,” one of the fans apologized.
Tom and Rita were one of the first celebrities to go public about catching COVID during the beginning of the pandemic.
“I want to take a moment to say how grateful we are for our health, how thankful we are for the medical care we got in Queensland,” Rita said at the time. “We share in the sorrow of each person who lost a loved one to this virus.”
