Todd and Julie Chrisley’s request for bail has been denied which means the couple is heading to prison very soon.
The Chrisley Knows Best stars were sentenced to prison in November.
Todd will soon begin his 12-year sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. His wife Julie will serve her seven years and two-and-a-half at Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna. The court also denied their request to extend their surrender date by 21 days. Todd and Julie will be able to write letters, send emails, and possibly mail each other packages behind bars, with their wardens’ approvals, per Radar Online.
The couple denied the tax fraud charges and are appealing their sentences and are hoping not to have to serve any time behind bars.
“Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to jurors about what taxes the couple paid. Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the road ahead,” their attorney told People.
