Tito Joe “TJ” Jackson threw some shade at his famous aunt, Janet Jackson, saying her provocative concerts “degrades and objectifies women in a way that’s not healthy.”
Jackson’s shows are known for being raunchy. A fan tweeted a clip of Jackson touching a fan as well as simulating fellatio.
“I never liked when she did this in concerts either,” TJ replied to the tweet. “I don’t like when females are overly sexualized in art…it degrades and objectify’s [sic] women in a way that’s not healthy. I prefer ‘That’s the Way Love Goes’ Janet.”
A fan then asked, “Do you think maybeeee you just have a different outlook on it because she’s your literal aunt? I don’t agree with your point, but I think maybe Janet isn’t the best person to make your point.”
Jackson said it was not the reason.
“I tried to help you But me personally I just don’t think women being sexual diminishes their talent. I mean Michael was humping the floor and Prince was…Prince, that didn’t diminish their talent. What’s the difference?” the fan clapped back, but TJ is sticking to his opinion.
“My aunt got a lot dirtier than my uncle..lol but no help needed. 🙂 I’ve traveled and seen how black women are treated better outside the states. They are truly and rightfully celebrated more and I believe it has a lot to do with how we allow ourselves to be projected here,” he said.
