Following new claims that TJ Holmes cheated on his wife with several other women, a source now says the news anchor is under investigation.
“It’s one thing for him to have a relationship with another anchor,” an insider told Page Six. “The question is whether he violated company rules by dating less senior employees.”
Holmes and Amy Robach, who co-host “GMA3,” have since been pulled off-air temporarily. Last week, a rep for the couple released the following statement:
“They had been close friends for many years but this relationship started over the past few months, after they separated from their respective spouses in August. They had not told anyone, even at ABC, because they were waiting until they both were divorced.”
On air, the new couple joked about their trending scandal.
“It’s too bad it’s Friday,” TJ said on “GMA3.”
“Is it?” Amy asked.
“It’s been a great week. I just want it to keep going, and going, and going. Just enjoy it,” he responded.
“Speak for yourself,” said Amy.
