Tiger Woods Faces New Legal Fight as Prosecutors Seek Drug Records

Tiffany Brockworth |

Tiger Woods is facing a new development in his DUI case as Florida prosecutors move to obtain his prescription drug history.

According to court filings in Martin County, prosecutors plan to subpoena Lewis Pharmacy in Palm Beach for records showing what medications Woods was prescribed, when they were filled, and whether he was warned not to drive while taking them.

The filing also requests the number of pills prescribed and dosage instructions.

The move comes one week after Woods pleaded not guilty following a crash in which his SUV clipped a trailer and rolled over in Florida. Deputies later reported finding two pain pills in Woods’ pocket and said he appeared impaired.

As the legal case continues, Woods is also leaning on his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump.

Sources told Page Six that Trump has no plans to leave Woods despite the recent fallout.

“She’s both disappointed and a little bit p—-d, if I’m being honest. It’s a definite red flag,” another source told the Daily Mail, adding that Trump has told Woods “he’s got to get his s–t together.”

Still, those close to the couple say she remains committed.

“Vanessa has zero intention of walking away,” a source said.

Woods announced after the crash that he would take time away from golf.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods said. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.”
