Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren is reportedly worried after the golf legend was arrested following a DUI crash in Florida.
A source close to the family told PEOPLE that Nordegren remains concerned about Woods because of the impact the situation could have on their children, 18-year-old daughter Sam and 17-year-old son Charlie.
“The kids are close with Tiger, so of course Elin cares too,” the source said. “She wants him to be well.” The insider added, “Elin’s concerned that he had another car crash and got arrested.”
Woods, 50, was arrested March 27 in Jupiter Island, Florida, after authorities say he clipped a pickup trailer and rolled over his Range Rover.

The incident is the latest in a series of troubling crashes for the golfer. In 2021, Woods suffered severe leg injuries in a crash near Los Angeles that required multiple surgeries. More than a decade earlier, he was involved in another accident outside his Florida home during the final days of his marriage to Nordegren.
“His recovery from the crash in California was brutal,” the source said. “[Elin] just wants him to make the best choices for himself. It’s about his health and being there for the kids.”
Despite their divorce in 2010, Woods and Nordegren have remained close as co-parents. Just last month, they attended a ceremony together honoring Charlie at The Benjamin School after he received his state championship ring.
