Tiffany Haddish has finally broken her silence on the allegations of child abuse stemming from an old skit with Aries Spears.
“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now,” the comedian wrote.
“But clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”
A Texas mom is suing Aries and Tiffany is claiming that the two comedians tricked her into allowing her children to participate in a video, which the mother claims was” inappropriate.” Tiffany and Aries’ lawyers have responded to the reports of a lawsuit, calling it “a money grab.”
Those who have viewed the video have called it “highly disturbing.”
