Vanderpump Rules alum and current star of The Valley, Brittany Cartwright, has filed for divorce from her husband, Jax Taylor.
The former couple announced their separation six months ago and this month, Taylor completed a 30-day treatment in a mental health facility…but it was too little too late.
Brittany cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.
She is requesting legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old son, Cruz Michael Cauchi but wants her ex to have visitation rights. She is also asking that neither party receive spousal support.
“There’s a lot that has transpired over the past few months that she could not look past,” an insider told People. “This decision wasn’t made lightly but she feels adamant that it was the right one.”
Attorney’s fees and costs were also requested to be paid by each party but also that the “petitioner reserves the right to request reimbursement and credits and any other relief that the court deems equitable, just and proper in this matter.”
The couple married in June 2019.
